Here's How It Works
STEP 1 - GIVE US A CALL
When you contact East Coast Breast Care Products and Services, owner Paula Hatten will ask some questions to understand your needs and guide you through next steps.
Paula will ask if you have been fitted before and if you require another fitting and new garments, or if this is a first fitting after surgery. If this is a repeat fitting she will ask you for some details so she can check with the Ministry of Health to see what subsidy may be available to you at this time. She will then let you know what your subsidy is and make you an appointment for a fitting.
If this is your first fitting following surgery, Paula will ask where you are in your recovery. A first fitting can should take place around six weeks after surgery to allow for proper healing. She'll then make an appointment for a private consultation and fitting to help you find the right size and style to give you balance, comfort and confidence with pocketed bras and prosthesis.
If you're eligible for Ministry of Health funding, Paula can also assist you with your subsidy claim. All she needs is a copy of your medical certificate.

STEP 2 - PRIVATE CONSULTATION AND FITTING
During your consultation, Paula will guide you through the range of breast prostheses, pocketed bras, and show you some options.
Paula will take your measurements and you you can try on a selection of sample, ensuring you find the right combination of comfort, support, balance, and confidence. Once you've chosen the products that are right for you, she will place your order.
Orders normally arrive within 2–4 weeks. As soon as your items are received, Paula will contact you to arrange a follow-up fitting. At this appointment, you'll try on your items to ensure everything fits perfectly and you're happy with your selection.
If you're eligible for Ministry of Health funding, Paula will help you complete the paperwork to claim your subsidy. If there is any extra to pay or you are paying for your whole order this can be paid by internet banking or cash when you collect your garments.
